Margaret D. Spring, 92, of Manchester, died December 12, 2006, at Pearl Manor, after a period of declining health.
Born in Boston, MA, March 21, 1914, she was the daughter of Joseph and Louise (Oslos) Dockx. She lived most of her life in Manchester.
Mrs. Spring worked for the R.G. Sullivan Cigar Factory as a machine supervisor for many years. She later worked for Emery Waterhouse, and for the Manchester School Department as a cafeteria worker.
She was a communicant of St. Pius X Church, and was a founding member of the Hi-Hopes Seniors of that parish.
Her husband, Arthur F. Spring, predeceased her.
Family members include two sons, James A. Spring, of Weare, NH, and Gerald F. Spring, of Steamboat Springs, CO; 4 grandchildren; 7 great grandchildren; nieces and nephews.
Calling hours are Friday from 5 to 8 pm at Lambert Funeral Home & Crematory, 1799 Elm St., corner of North St.
A Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated will be celebrated Saturday at 10 am at St. Pius X Church, Candia Rd., Manchester. Burial will follow in St. Joseph Cemetery, Bedford, NH.
