Marguerite M. Berthiaume, 90, of Manchester, died May 10, 2003 at the Elliot Hospital after a period of declining health.
Born in Manchester, May 30, 1912, she was the daughter of Theophile and Regina (St. Germaine) Peloquin. She was a life long resident of this city.
Mrs. Berthiaume worked in the shoe industry for many years. She had been employed by Myrna Shoe as a sock liner until her retirement in 1979.
She was a member of AFL/CIO shoeworkers' Union and AARP.
She was predeceased by her husband, Aime G. Berthiaume, who died in 1968.
Family members include a son; Richard W. Berthiaume of Dunbarton; a daughter, Pauline Sauvageau of Manchester; 7 grandchildren and 5 great grandchildren, 2 brothers; Gerard Peloquin and Maurice Peloquin, both of Manchester; a sister, Cecile Franklyn of Manchester; several nieces and nephews.
A Mass of Christian burial was celebrated Monday May 12, 2003 in St. Augustin Church, 383 Beech St., Manchester. Burial followed in St. Augustine Cemetery, Manchester.
Lambert Funeral Home & Crematory, 1799 Elm St., corner of North Street Manchester, was in charge of the arrangements.
