Maria L. Remillard

Maria L. Remillard, 49, of Manchester, died September 5, 2022, at her residence, after a courageous battle with ALS.

Born in Manchester on December 30, 1972, she was the daughter of Heather A. Remillard and Francis P. Remillard.  She was a graduate of Manchester High School West and earned her Bachelor’s Degree in Liberal Arts from Notre Dame College.  She worked as a banker for Eastern Bank and was a volunteer for the Manchester Animal Shelter for over 24 years.

Maria enjoyed gardening and loved all animals, especially cats and dogs.  She was a member of the Manchester Garden Club and coordinated the Friends of the Manchester Animal Shelter Annual Plant Sale for several years.  Maria will be remembered as a very strong, independent woman who was loved by her family, friends and all of the animals she devoted her time to and was an advocate for. 

Family includes her mother, Heather A. (Mabie) Remillard of Florida; her late father, Francis P. Remillard of Florida; parents of her heart, Cheryl and Richard Elliott; one brother, Christopher A. Remillard and wife Lisa of Manchester; one niece, Miranda Remillard of Merrimack; her aunts, Diane Remillard, Elaine Tremblay, Doreen Remillard, and Penelope Mabie; one uncle, Craig Mabie and husband Douglas Sutherland; and several cousins.  SHe was also predeceased by her uncle, Paul R. Remillard.
