Maria C. (Champagne) Roberge, 93, of Manchester died May 28, 2002 at the Courville at Manchester after a brief illness.
Born in Augusta, ME on June 17, 1908, she was the daughter of Mathias and Marie Louise (Martineau) Champagne.
Mrs. Roberge worked at J.F. McElwain Shoe Company in Manchester for many years.
She was a member of the Sodality of St. Anne, the Third Order of St. Francis, the Missionary Rosebushes of St. Theresa and the Oblate Fathers Guild.
She was predeceased by her husband, Frederick J. Roberge in 2000 and a daughter, Rita Roux in 1929.
The family includes two daughters, Lillian Soucy of Manchester and Pauline Faucher of Auburn; nine grandchildren; 17 great grandchildren; nieces and nephews.
A mass of Christian burial was celebrated Friday May 31, 2002 in Our Lady of Perpetual Help Church, corner of Cypress and Hayward streets, Manchester. Burial was in Mt. Calvary Cemetery, 474 Goffstown Rd., Manchester.
