Marie J. Amato

Marie J. Amato, 89, of Manchester died Tuesday October 11, 2022 at Elliot Hospital.

Born December 27, 1932 in the Bronx, NY, she was the daughter of Santo & Mary (Dragone) Molinari.  Marie grew up in the Bronx, and lived in Hooksett and Manchester for 28 years. 

In her spare time Marie liked to bake, play bingo, and spend time with her family.

Marie is survived by her grandchildren Melissa Goodwin & her husband Daniel of Goffstown, Jonathan Denis & his wife Melissa of Manchester, and Kimberly DuVerger & her husband Matthew of Derry; her great-grandchildren Isabella and Hunter Goodwin, Gianna Denis, and Madeleine DuVerger. Additionally, she is survived by her sister Beatrice and her husband Daniel Hill of Carmel, NY; and her nephew Michael Hill. She was predeceased by her parents, her husband Fred Amato, and her daughter Marieelaine Denis.

SERVICES: A calling hour will be held 10am to 11am on Friday 10/14 at Lambert Funeral Home, 1799 Elm St., Manchester, NH followed immediately by a service in the funeral home at 11am.  A private burial will be in St. Raymond’s Cemetery in the Bronx, NY at a later date.
