Marie H. Brent

Marie Huguette (Tanguay) Brent, 85, of Goffstown, NH died July 26, 2021, surrounded by her family.

Born in Magog, PQ, Canada on March 1, 1936, she was the daughter of Philippe L. and Marianne (Couture) Tanguay. She received her nursing training in Canada and then moved to United States to be with her parents and siblings.

Prior to retirement, she had worked as a RN in Los Angeles, CA and that is where she met her soon to be husband. They decided to relocate to NH with John in 1969 to be with family. She worked at Notre Dame Hospital as a labor & delivery nurse and then the hospital merged to CMC. She retired in 1994.
Marie was an adventurous spirit. She enjoyed family time, cooking, traveling, site seeing, gardening, animals, and endless activities. She was a devout Catholic and active member of St. Marie's Parish.

She was predeceased by her husband of 55 years, William Brent in 2020 as well as her brothers, Robert Bissonnette and Jean Paul Tanguay and sister, Liana McMahon.

Family members include her son and daughter-in-law, John and Michelle Brent, of Manchester, NH and leaving behind countless family and friends
Calling hours at Lambert Funeral Home & Crematory, 1799 Elm St, corner of North St, will be Friday from 4 to 7 pm. A Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated on Saturday at 9:00 AM at St. Marie Church, Manchester. Committal prayers will follow in Mt. Calvary Cemetery Mausoleum.
