Marie Theresa Dallaire

Marie Theresa Dallaire, 81, of Manchester, died February 16, 2011 following a brief illness.

She was born on June 21, 1929 and was the daughter of Francis and Eva (Poirier) Leblanc. She resided in Manchester for all of her life.

Marie attended St. Augustine Grammar School and later went on to graduate from Manchester Central High School.

Marie worked for Child & Family Services program in Manchester and received several awards for Home Maker of the Year. Marie devoted a lot of her time taking care of her extensive flower garden. People would often stop to admire its beauty. She also had a large vegetable garden that she took great pride in. During her retired years she enjoyed bowling with a league. She also loved her spiritual reading and was a member of the Christian Science Church.

IN HER LIFE: The family includes her beloved husband of 56 years, Robert Dallaire of Manchester; her son, Gary Dallaire and his wife, Johanne, of Hooksett; She also has a brother, Lucien Leblanc of Glendale, CA; and several nieces, nephews and cousins.

Mrs. Dallaire was predeceased by her youngest son, David Dallaire in 1984; a sister Irene Leblanc and two brothers, Raymond Leblanc and Arthur Leblanc.

The funeral services were private on Sunday, February 20, 2011 for the family and close friends at Lambert Funeral Home & Crematory 1799 Elm Street. The burial was at the family lot in Pine Grove Cemetery
