Marie A. Martel

She was born in Manchester on November 4, 1937, the daughter of Napoleon and Jennie (Zinnis) Goudreault. Marie attended Manchester West High School and worked for several years, for Dorson-Fleisher, as a marker.

She leaves her husband of 58 years, Raymond J, Martel, Sr., of Manchester; three sons Raymond J. Martel, Jr. and wife Robin, of FL, Roger A. Martel, of Manchester and Robert P. Martel and wife Denise, of Manchester; a daughter, Doreen Guild, of Bedford; eleven grandchildren; twenty one great grandchildren; two brothers, Joseph and Edward Godreault; two sisters, Theresa Labrecque and Sarah Bilodeau; and several nieces and nephews. She is predeceased by her daughter Lucille Perron, April 2013.

Her hobbies included watching the Red Sox, building puzzles and doing scratch tickets. She also loved company to catch up on all the gossip.

A funeral service was held on Friday, August 23, 2013 at Lambert Funeral Home & Crematory, 1799 Elm St., Manchester, NH. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the American Heart Association, PO Box 3049, Syracuse, NY 13220-3049.
