She was born in Thetford Mines, Quebec, Canada on November 16, 1941 to Paul-Emile and Monique (Gregoire) Perron. She grew up in Thetford Mines and lived in Montreal several years before moving to Manchester 49 years ago.
Marie-Paule was a Licensed Nurse's Aide and worked at Maple Leaf Health Care Center for several years and with the Sisters of the Presentation of Mary at St. Joseph Residence for many years, both in Manchester.
She enjoyed knitting, sewing, gardening and cleaning. Family was most important to her, especially time spent with her grandchildren.
She was predeceased by her father, a daughter, Sylvie Blais; a son in law, Gary Norton; and three siblings, Gaston Perron, Doris Perron and Gaetan Perron.
The family includes her husband of 54 years, Denis R. Blais of Manchester; four children, Lynda Belanger and her husband, Tommy, and Chantal Norton and her fiance, Tim, all of Hooksett, Josee Severino and her husband, Thomas, of Candia and Marc Blais and his wife, Moira, of Bow; nine grandchildren, Carl Belanger, Matthew Belanger, Craig Norton, Christina Severino, Bianca Severino, Cassandra Severino, Sara Severino, Jordan Blais and Stephan Blais; her mother of Thetford Mines; two siblings, Pierrette Perron and Marcel Perron and his wife, Odette, all of Thetford Mines; one uncle and cousins, nieces and nephews.
A Mass of Christian Burial was celebrated on Saturday, November 1, 2014 at St. Catherine Church, Manchester.
