Mrs. Marie Patricia (née Gear) Woodlock was called home on February 21, 2022 after a period of declining health.
Born in Malden, MA on April 5, 1927 Marie was the daughter of the late Patrick and Martha (née O'Dwyer) Gear. She was a graduate of Everett, MA High School Class of 1945.
Marie was a licensed cosmetologist, owning several salons in Manchester until her retirement.
Marie was a communicant of Our Lady of Perpetual Help in Manchester until its closing. She was then a communicant of St. Pius Church in Manchester.
God, family, and church were the center of Marie's life. She also enjoyed spending winters in her South Florida home and trips to Europe, Ireland being the nearest and dearest trip to her. She had a love of Irish music.
She was predeceased by her husband of 60 years, John F. Woodlock, her son Thomas Woodlock, and her daughter Lisa Marie Woodlock.
Marie is survived by her daughter Maureen Jones and her husband William of Boca Raton, FL, her son John Woodlock Jr. of Manchester, her son Richard Woodlock of Manchester, her son James Woodlock and his wife Ann Marie of Manchester, and her daughter Laurielee Woodlock of Manchester.
She also leaves behind brothers and several nieces and nephews.
One of the core centers of Marie's life was her grandchildren whom she leaves behind; Todd Carlino of Coral Springs, FL, Erick Carlino of Boyton Beach, FL, Gabrielle Roy of Manchester, Alexandra Roy of Manchester, and Thomas Roy of Manchester.
SERVICES: A walk-through visitation with masks & social distancing is Friday (2/25) from 4 to 6 p.m. at Lambert Funeral Home & Crematory, 1799 Elm St., Manchester. Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated on Saturday (2/26) at 10 a.m. in St. Catherine of Siena Church, Manchester, immediately followed by burial at St. Joseph's Cemetery in Bedford.
In lieu of flowers, donations in Marie's honor may be made to Catholic Charities of New Hampshire, 325 Franklin St., Manchester, NH 03101.
