Marieelaine (Amato) Denis, 57, of Manchester, died April 5, 2016 at her residence after a long period of declining health.
She was born in New York, NY on December 7, 1958 to Frederick and Marie (Molinari) Amato. She grew up in Lake Carmel, NY and later lived in Hooksett and Manchester for many years.
Marieelaine had worked as an executive secretary with the NH State Police and taught at Hooksett Memorial Middle School. She was a member of the NH Association for the Blind. She enjoyed bowling, dancing, playing bingo, summer afternoons at The Brickhouse in Hooksett and time spent with her children and grandchildren.
The family includes three children, Jonathan Denis and his wife, Melissa, of Manchester, Melissa Goodwin and her husband, Daniel, of Goffstown and Kimberly Denis of Derry; two grandchildren, Isabella Goodwin and Gianna Denis; her mother, Marie (Molinari) Amato of Manchester; and aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces and nephews.
A Mass of Christian Burial was celebrated on Monday, April 11, 2016 at St. Hedwig Church, corner of Beech and Orange streets, Manchester. Committal prayers followed at Mt. Calvary Mausoleum, 474 Goffstown Rd., Manchester.
