Marielle S. Cloutier

Marielle Solange (Vachon) Cloutier, 93, former longtime resident of Canaan, VT, and more recently Manchester, NH, passed away on December 29, 2025 at her daughter’s home surrounded by her loving family.

Marielle was born on September 3, 1932 in Coaticook, Quebec to parents Arthur and Reina (Fournier) Vachon.

She was a homemaker and also worked at Ethan Allen Furniture Co.

She enjoyed gardening, baking apple pies, doing puzzles and spending time with her family.

Marielle is survived by her daughters Nancy Couture and husband Alan of Dover, NH, Doris O’Neil of Manchester, NH and 3 grandchildren, Adam O’Neil, Laura O’Neil and Jacob Couture; her sister Rachel Genest of Manchester, NH, and her nieces and nephews.

She is predeceased by her husband Leo Cloutier, her siblings Ronald Vachon, Theresa Turmel, Anita Lambert, Leon Vachon and Philippe Vachon,

SERVICES: There will be no calling hours. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Monday, January 5, 2026 at 12:00 p.m. at St. Catherine of Sienna Parish, 207 Hemlock Street, Manchester, NH. A committal service will follow at Mt. Calvary Cemetery Mausoleum, 474 Goffstown Road, Manchester, NH.
