Mariette A. Dionne

She was born in Saint Honore De Beauce, Quebec, Canada, on May 18, 1921, the daughter of Pierre and Marie (Morin) Lessard.

Prior to retirement, she had been employed as a stitcher with Winwood Sportswear.

Mariette loved cooking, gardening, traveling and going out to eat. Above all else, she will be remembered as a devoted wife, mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother who cherished time spent with family.

She was predeceased by her husband Eliodore Dionne in 1974, her son Michael Dionne in 2009, and her granddaughter Bridget Hebert in 2010.

Family members include her children, Denise Mailhot and husband Gene of Manchester, Monique Smith and husband Robert of Hooksett, Diane Masse and husband Wilfred of Bedford, Adrien Dionne and wife Pauline; 12 grandchildren; 14 great-grandchildren; her brother, Gerard Lessard of Canada.

A funeral liturgy was held on Saturday, March 2, 2013 in the chapel at Lambert Funeral Home & Crematory, 1799 Elm St, Manchester. Committal prayers followed in Mt. Calvary Cemetery Mausoleum.
