Marilyn W. Griswold, 79, of Bedford, NH, died peacefully on January 19, 2022 after a period of declining health.
She was born in Worcester, MA on March 14, 1942 to Harold and Frederica (Donley) Griswold. She lived in West Boylston, MA for most of her life.
She graduated from West Boylston High School in 1962 and earned an associate's degree in executive secretarial studies from Becker Junior College in Worcester.
Marilyn worked 36 years as an executive assistant at Nypro in Clinton, MA where she served on several committees while aiding in the growth of the company.
She was a member of the First Congregational Church in West Boylston and thoroughly enjoyed volunteering in the church thrift store. A kindred spirit with an infectious laugh, she was a gifted artist with a passion for creating stunning pieces of handwork and crafts which she gifted to her family, friends, church and community.
She had a passion for all things Disney, travel, animals, golf and bowling, but most of all for her family, whom she deeply loved. She selflessly devoted over three decades taking beautiful care of her mother.
Marilyn is survived by her loving sister, Suzanne G. Roberts of Concord, NH; nephews, Darren Roberts and his wife, Angela and Carleton Roberts and his wife, Julie; nieces, Rebecca Urban, Abigail Klinger and her husband, Allen and Hannah Butler and her husband, Brian; brother-in-law, Carl Ohlin; and 15 great nieces and great nephews.
She was predeceased by her parents; her dear brother and sister, Ralph H. Griswold and Cynthia G. Ohlin; and a nephew-in-law, Mark Urban.
SERVICES: There are no calling hours. A funeral ceremony will take place on Thursday, February 3, 2022 at 11 a.m. at Crossroads Bible Church, 54 Main St., Candia, NH.
