Marilyn Eldridge Morand

Marilyn Eldridge Morand, 95, of Manchester, died June 16, 2026 surrounded by her family. 

Born in Rochester, NH on May 19, 1931, she was the daughter of Ernest H. and Ruth (Hodge) Eldridge.

Prior to retirement, she worked as a school bus driver and delivery driver She was a CNA at St. Ann Nursing Center andFrisbee Memorial Hospital for many years.

She enjoyed working on her crafts, including knitting,

crochet, and embroidery. She particularly enjoyed creating gifts for family and friends using plastic canvas. Tissue box cover anyone? She enjoyed travelling and was always up for a Sunday drive. If the drive included stopping for ice cream, all the better.

Family members include her children, Kenneth Morand of Manchester, Kevin Morand and wife Deborah of Manchester, Sarah Morand of Manchester, Syndra Shackford and husband Stephen of Center Ossipee, Jason Morand and wife Linda of Merrimack; her grandchildren Makenzie Elliott and husband Justin of Center Ossipee, Ali Hanscom and husband Cory of Ossipee, and Logan Morand of Manchester; her great grandchildren Annabelle Elliott, Hunter Elliott and Remington Elliott. Family members also include several children and adults who knew and loved her as Nanny. 

Marilyn was predeceased by her close friend and sister, Electa Viel.

Per her wishes, funeral services will be private at the family’s convenience.
