Marion B. Strange

She was born in Chicopee Falls MA, January 17, 1933, and was the daughter of the late Frank and Pauline (Rys) Renkowicz.

Marion received her Bachelor of Science Degree from New Hampshire College and her Master of Science degree from Springfield College. She was a member of the Academy of Social Workers, a certified Reiki Healer and an occasional adjunct Social Work instructor for UNH. She enjoyed a long career as a clinical social worker at Southern NH Medical Center in Nashua and retired in 2007.

Marion devoted her life to her family, She enjoyed doing volunteer work and seeing to the needs of others, she was an avid reader, a life long learner; and enjoyed taking RISE classes for adults at Rivier College.

She was a devout member of St. Elizabeth Seton Parish in Bedford.

Family members include; 3 daughters, Linda Hamm, of Chester, Donna Stutler, of CT, Gail Wilkinson, of MA; 2 sons, John Strange, Matthew Strange, both of IN; 10 grandchildren; 1 great grandchild; several nieces, nephews, and cousins.

Marion was predeceased by her husband George Strange, who died in 1979.

A Mass of Christian burial was celebrated Wednesday, January 7, 2009 at St. Elizabeth Seton Church, 190 Meetinghouse Rd. Bedford.

Burial was at the convenience of the family.
