Mark A. Hagenow, 50, of Manchester, died January 9, 2003, at his home after a brief battle with cancer.

He was born on January 9, 1953, in Manchester CT, the son of Alfred and Myrna (Richmond) Hagenow.

He was a disabled veteran and served as a sergeant with the U.S. Marine Corps from 1972 to 1976.

In 1980 he was granted an Associate's degree from Fresno City College.

Mr. Hagenow was systems support technician for Agilent Technologies, formerly Hewlett Packard.

Mr. Hagenow was a supporter of the Greyhound Placement Service.He was a member of the East Coast Camero Club, and took pride in owning his own 1967 Camero Rally Sport. He loved golfing, woodworking, and attending horse shows with his daughter.

Family members include his wife of 21 years, Leslie (West) Hagenow of Manchester NH; a daughter Elise Hagenow of Manchester; two sons, Kirk Hagenow of Manchester NH, and Josh Hagenow of Fresno CA; his dad, Alfred Hagenow of Manchester CT; four sisters, Vanessa Richmond of Manchester CT, Holly Harlow of Newington CT, Bernadette Lastowski of Holyoke MA and Marita Spears of Baltimore MD; two brothers, Andrew Hagenow of Springfield VA and Matthew Hagenow of Newington CT; two grandchildren, Drake and Emily Hagenow; one uncle Bill Hagenow of Manchester CT.

A memorial service as held Saturday, January 18, 2003 in the Calvary Bible Church, 145 Hampstead Rd. Derry NH.

Flowers are to be omitted. Memorial donations may be made to the VNA Hospice of Manchester, 1850 Elm St. Manchester, NH 03104.

Lambert Funeral Home & Crematory, 1799 Elm St., Manchester, NH, assisted the family with arrangements.
