Henniker, NH

Mark A. Simpson, 63, of Henniker, died peacefully at his home on October 31, 2023 after a brief illness.

He was born in Lawrence, MA on November 21, 1959 to Arthur and Barbara (Cassidy) Simpson.  He spoke fondly of growing up with his brothers, sister and cousins whom he considered his “partners in crime”. After being honorably discharged from the Army, he moved to Manchester with the love of his life, Mrs. Tina Simpson, before retiring to Henniker several years ago.

Mark enjoyed spending time with his family and friends, collecting great music, debating politics, following his favorite football team, the Patriots, improving his homestead and traveling with his wife and dogs. Throughout his life he taught his family about the value of respect, kindness, generosity, hard work and determination.  He will leave behind the legacy of a life well lived and a heart well loved.

Mark was predeceased by his father, Arthur, and brother, John Simpson.  He is survived by his wife of 38 years, Mrs. Tina (Brown) Simpson of Henniker; his supportive mother, Barbara, and Aunt Susie; three sons, Wayne Simpson and wife, Kristina, Brian Simpson and wife, Amanda, Dave Simpson and wife, Kristin; seven amazing grandchildren: Mark, Summer, Aleigha, Logan, Fiona, Isabelle and Madison; four siblings, Debra Simpson-Beckman, Luke Simpson, Matthew Simpson and Timothy Simpson; as well as so many well-loved friends, cousins, nieces, and nephews.

SERVICES: A time of remembrance for friends and family will be planned in the coming months.  In lieu of flowers, the Simpson family asks that you take every opportunity to perform an act of generosity and kindness for a stranger.

Lambert Funeral Home & Crematory, Manchester is assisting the family with arrangements.
