Martha L. Bouchard

Born in Epping on June 30, 1918, she was the daughter of Albert and Annie (Purinton) Parker. She was a graduate of Epping High School in 1936 and the Elliot Hospital School of Nursing in 1939. She lived in Bedford for many years.

Mrs. Bouchard worked as a registered nurse in the newborn and special care nursery at Elliot Hospital for 28 years and retired in 1976. She was a member of the Elliot Alumnae Association.

She was predeceased by a son, Richard A. Bouchard.

The family includes her husband of 68 years, Florian Bouchard of Bedford; three daughters, Judith A. Descheneau of Manchester, Martha M. Descheneau of Bedford and Pamela J. Bouchard of Manchester; six grandchildren and five great grandchildren and nieces and nephews.

A committal service was held Tuesday, December 2, 2008 in Shaw Chapel at St. Joseph Cemetery, 448 Donald St., Bedford. Msgr. John Quinn officiated.
