Martha D. Maltais

Martha (Dalton) Maltais, 77, of Manchester died January 21, 2002 at Elliot Hospital after a long illness.

Born in Manchester on May 24, 1924, she was the daughter of John and Mary (Heron) Dalton. She was a graduate of West High School and was a lifelong resident of Manchester.

Mrs. Maltais worked with the Internal Revenue Service for 20 years.

She was a communicant of St. Edmond Church.

The family includes her husband of 54 years, Roland B. Maltais of Manchester; a son, Roger R. Maltais of Dublin, CA; three daughters, Christina Maltais of Plaistow, Martha A. Maltais of Manchester and Mary Ellen Maltais of Goffstown; three sisters, Christina Campbell, Margaret Sonier and Irene Newell all of Bedford; nieces and nephews.

Calling hours were January 24, 2002 in Lambert Funeral Home & Crematory, 1799 Elm St., corner of North Street. A mass of Christian burial was celebrated January 25, 2002 in St. Edmond Church, 55 Edmond St., Manchester. Burial was in St. Joseph Cemetery, 448 Donald St., Bedford.
