Born in Manchester, NH on August 7, 1925, she was the daughter of the late William and Julia (Moody) Bothwick. She was predeceased by her husband of 62 years, Rudolph O. "Rudy" Bourget in 2008 and by her three brothers, William E., Harold M., and Walter J. Bothwick.
Mary was educated in the Manchester school system and attended Central High School.
Prior to retirement, Mary had been employed as a shoe factory worker in Manchester and later as a production worker at Disogrin Industries in Manchester. After moving to Florida in 1981, Mary went back to school and earned her CNA degree. She later worked for many years as a certified nursing assistant in Sebastian, FL.
During her life she enjoyed water skiing, shopping, riding her exercise bike, gardening, feeding her birds and squirrels as well as traveling. She also loved taking care of her rescued pets.
She leaves behind her son Rudolph D. Bourget and his wife Pauline of Weare; three grandsons, Stephen and Paul Bourget of Weare and Marc Bourget of Lee, NH; many nephews and nieces.
A memorial service was celebrated on Wednesday, January 28, 2015 in the chapel at Lambert Funeral Home & Crematory, 1799 Elm St., corner of North St, Manchester.
Mary's ashes will have their final resting place in Florida, alongside those of her late husband.
