She was born in Manchester on October 8, 1918 to Minard and Annie (MacDougal) Dunn. She was a lifelong resident of Manchester.
Mrs. Brent worked as a secretary at St. Anselm College for many years and retired in 1983.
She was a communicant of Blessed Sacrament Church and was a member of the Third Order of St. Francis. She also volunteered with Primetime at Catholic Medical Center.
She was an avid reader and enjoyed time spent with her family. She will be remembered for her sense of humor.
She was married to George T. Brent who died in 1989.
The family includes four children, Donald Brent and his wife, Patricia, and Patricia Clement and her husband, Raymond, all of Manchester, Kathryn Jenkins and her husband, Daniel, of Bedford, and James Brent and his wife, Diane Taft, of Manchester; 12 grandchildren and nine great grandchildren; a brother, G. Robert Dunn of Manchester; and many nieces and nephews.
She was predeceased by four brothers, Kenneth Dunn, Roger Dunn, Francis Dunn and Charles Dunn; and a grandson, Matthew Clement.
A Mass of Christian Burial was celebrated on Monday, March 5, 2012 at Blessed Sacrament Church, 14 Elm St., Manchester. The burial is private and will be at the convenience of the family at St. Joseph Cemetery, Bedford.
