Mary F. Brissette

Mary F. Brissette, 82, of Auburn, died August 4, 2006 at the Elliot Hospital.

She was born in Manchester, NH on April 9, 1924, the daughter of Walter and Gertrude (Gallant) Groeppner. She was educated in the local school system and was a graduate of the Notre Dame Hospital School of Nursing.

Prior to retirement, she had been a registered nurse with the Catholic Medical Center. She enjoyed traveling, gardening, sewing, and spending time with her husband in Florida.

She was predeceased by a son, Paul Brissette in 1992 and her brother, Walter Groeppner Jr.

Members of her family include her husband of 56 years, Raymond Brissette of Auburn; two sons, Michael Brissette of Manchester and Denis Brissette of Penacook; one daughter, Louise Chasin of Maryland; four grandchildren, Nathan and Brian Brissette, Elizabeth and Jonathan Chasin;

A Mass of Christian burial was celebrated in St. Peter Church on Tuesday August 8, 2006. Burial followed in Mt. Calvary Cemetery.
