Mary E. Couture, 62, of Manchester, NH died July 15, 2007 after a lengthy illness.

She was born August 8, 1944, in Manchester, the daughter of Amos J. Bolieau Jr. and the late Mary Katherine (Connor) Bolieau. She was a lifelong resident of the city.

Mary graduated from St. Joseph High School for Girls and attended Hesser College in the field of Medical Assisting. She was employed in the medical field for many years prior to retiring due to illness.

For many years, she enjoyed working on her family tree and met many new relatives from far and wide.

Besides being predeceased by her mother, she was also predeceased by her brother, Gerald F. Bolieau.

She is survived by her father, Amos Bolieau and his wife Mary; her husband of 43 years, Donald A. Couture of Manchester; three children, Mrs. Jay (Robin) LaPointe of Middletown, DE, Stephen Couture and Michelle Champagne, David Couture and Lisa Healey, all from Manchester.

Her grandchildren were the sunshine in her life: Jason Couture, Christina LaPointe, Stephen Couture, Michael LaPointe, Andrew Couture, Tyler Couture, Rachell Champagne and Renee Champagne.

Mary is survived by her siblings and their spouses: Paul and Diane Bolieau, Carol Miville, Madeline Aron, Catherine and Richard Walas, John and Maggie Bolieau, Robert Bolieau, Patricia Bolieau, and Anne and Gregg Blanchard.

She has one sister-in-law, Sylvia Garceau.

She has several nieces and nephews: Mrs. Steve (Kerry) Tripp, Kimberly Bolieau, Mrs. Mark (Jennifer) Belden, Mrs. Jeremy (Casey) McHugh, Jeff Marcoux, Alan Garceau, Kenneth and Wendy Garceau, and Gary Garceau.

She is also survived by great-nephews and great-nieces: Christopher McHugh, Brogan McHugh, Brady Belden, D. Mackenzie Tripp, and Brooke Belden.

A Mass of Christian burial was celebrated in St. Joseph Cathedral on Thursday July 19, 2007. Burial followed in St. Joseph Cemetery, Bedford.
