Mary Inez Demers of Manchester passed on to eternity, peacefully on January 30, 2021.
Born on November 19th, 1922 in (Anniston) Alabama, she lived a full and active life as part of the "Greatest Generation". She watched her husband, the late Roland P. She moved her family by boat twice to and from Europe and lived abroad in Europe for seven years as a Military Wife and Mother and witnessed some of man's greatest technical achievements over the course of her lifetime.
She was an adventurous person frequently travelling to places; such as, New Zealand, Prague and white water rafted the Colorado River. She was a devoted wife, loving mother and benevolent grandmother while being a caregiver to other family members. In her professional life she was a skilled accountant and accomplished office manager and mentor to many. She will also be remembered as an avid follower of the Boston Red Sox and the New England Patriots!
Mary is survived by her three children: Robert Demers (Linda) of Arlington, Virginia; Patricia Peck (Chuck) of Venice, Florida; and Richard Demers (Karen) of North Wales, Pennsylvania; her two grandchildren: Benjamin Demers (Andrea) of Milford, Connecticut and James Demers of Oak Ridge, New Jersey.
