Mary Karen Dill, 72, of Manchester died May 9th, 2018 after a brief illness.
Born in Buffalo, NY on June 9, 1945, she was the daughter of George and Betty (Sheridan) Kruger. She was educated in the Buffalo school system and graduated high school from Buffalo Academy of the Sacred Heart. She earned her bachelor's degree from the State University of New York at Buffalo in 1979.
Prior to retirement this past January, she had been a self-employed financial advisor. She had most recently worked with New England Financial Life Insurance and had worked many years with Merchants Insurance Group, rising to the level of Regional Manager.
She belonged to the Society of Certified Insurance Counselors for over 20 years.
Karen was a woman devoted to her Catholic faith and was a longtime communicant of St. Catherine of Siena Parish in Manchester. She had also volunteered much of her time to the Coming Home Program at St. Kathryn Parish in Hudson.
Family members include her sisters, Nan Kieffer, Kathleen Brownschidle and husband Ronald; nephews, Len and Joe Kieffer; niece, Lisa Brownschidle.
A Mass of Christian burial was celebrated on Tuesday, May 15, 2018 in St. Catherine of Siena Church, Webster St, Manchester. Burial followed in Mt. Calvary Cemetery.
