Mary D. Healey, 63 of Manchester, died December 25, 2006, at Catholic Medical Center.
She was born in Manchester on September 24, 1943, and was the daughter of Roland and Margaret (Aust) Robert.
Mary was a graduate of West High School in 1961, and received her BS from UNH in 1965. Later she received an MA from the University of Arizona at Tempe and an MA from the former Plymouth State College.
She was a retired Math teacher at Merrimack High School with 20 years of service. Her passion for teaching is reflected in that she was also an adjunct professor at Southern NH University for ten years, the last 2 as a lecturer. She was chosen Educator of the Year at Southern NH University. Mary was a member of the Alpha Delta Kappa teachers association.
The ultimate grandmother, Mary loved spending time with her grandchildren, and custom knitting hats and bags with her daughter. She enjoyed traveling with friends, especially to Sedona Arizona. Mary will be remembered for her quick wit, and good sense of humor.
Family members include a daughter, Margaret Sudderth, of Goffstown; 2 grandchildren; a sister, Gretchen Hudson, of VT; Richard Roberts, of CT, Raymond Roberts, of Manchester.
A Funeral service was held Thursday December 28, 2006 in Brookside Congregational Church chapel, Elm St. Manchester.
Burial took place in Pine Grove Cemetery, Manchester.
