Mary was born in New York City February 25, 1920 to Cornelius and Catherine(McGuire) Mullen.
She was a graduate of Central High School, and later worked as an administrative assistant for Stone and Michaud Insurance Company.
She enjoyed spending time with her children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren.
She had been a communicant of Saint Anthony Parish (formerly Our Lady of Perpetual Help Parish)
She was predeceased by her husband, Anthony LaFleur, and siblings Margaret Jones and James Mullen.
Family members include her children, Maureen Richardson, of Manchester, Thomas LaFleur, of CA, Jane Wenning, of NJ, Catherine, Margaret, and Daniel LaFleur all of Manchester; 6 grandchildren: Kevin Richardson, Kate Richardson Weeks, K.C.Wenning, Scott Wenning, Kyle LaFleur, and Meghan LaFleur; 2 great grandchildren, Jack Richardson, Connor Weeks; her siblings, Catherine Hefferan, Nora Basquill, Arlene Mullen, John Mullen, all of Manchester; several nieces, nephews, and cousins.
A funeral Mass of Christian burial was celebrated on Thursday, August 2, 2012 at St. Raphael Church, 103 Walker St. Manchester. Burial followed in St. Joseph Cemetery, Donald St. Manchester.
Memorial donations may be made to The Precious Blood Monastery, 700 Bridge St. Manchester.
