Mary Jane (O'Keefe) Lawrence, 88, of Manchester, NH died May 12, 2022 after a period of declining health.
Born in Manchester on May 9, 1934, she was the daughter of Patrick C. and Violet F. (Dupuis) O'Keefe. She was educated in the local school system and accomplished attaining her GED at age 57.
Prior to retirement, she had worked as a cashier for Sundeen Lumber in Manchester. Previously, she and her husband Phil had owned and operated The Furniture Den on Massabesic St. in Manchester for many years.
Mary loved to travel on cross-country trips and vacation in Hawaii, Mexico and Aruba. She was very artistic and a talented painter. She will be remembered for always supporting her family and throwing the reunion "party of the year" on July 4th.
She was predeceased by her first husband, Philip Lawrence and second husband, Clifford LeBlanc.
Family members include her children, Janice Janelle and husband Maurice, David Lawrence and wife Monique, Richard Lawrence and wife Ann, Daniel Lawrence and wife Kelly, Kathy Lawrence, Mark Lawrence and wife Sonya, Gary Lawrence and wife Darlene, Mary Roy and husband Edward, Peter Lawrence and wife Denise, Sue Ward and husband Russell and Vicki Leduc and husband John; her step-children, Lois Brown and husband David, Cathy Harris; her siblings, JoAnn Jolin and husband Dennis, Sue Channel, Darlene Ainsworth, Shirley Grenier and husband Robert, Philip O'Keefe and wife Marcia; 38 grandchildren; 25 great-grandchildren; one great-great-granddaughter; sisters-in-law, Annette O'Keefe and Gail O'Keefe; many nephews, nieces and cousins. She was also predeceased by her son Joseph Lawrence; siblings, Constance Perry, John O'Keefe, Ronald O'Keefe, Norman (Bob) O'Keefe, Patrick O'Keefe and Phyllis Cadieux-Hebert.
SERVICES: Calling hours at Lambert Funeral Home & Crematory, 1799 Elm St, corner of North St, will be Sunday May 15 from 4 to 7 pm. A Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated on Monday May 16 at 10 am in St. Raphael Church, Walker St, Manchester. Burial will follow in St. Augustin Cemetery, Manchester.
