Mary Ellen Maltais

She was born in Manchester on November 10, 1954, the daughter of Roland B. and Martha (Dalton) Maltais. She was educated in the local school system and graduated from Manchester High School West. She earned her bachelor's degree from New Hampshire College.

Prior to her illness, she had been employed in the financial services department at the Elliot Hospital.

Mary Ellen loved fine cooking, gardening, and shopping.

Family members include two sisters, Christina and Martha Maltais, both of Manchester; one brother and sister-in-law, Roger and Jo-Ann Maltais of California; uncles, aunts, and cousins. She was predeceased by her mother in 2002 and her father in 2007.

A funeral Mass of Christian burial was celebrated on Saturday, November 29, 2008 in the Parish of the Transfiguration, Kelley St, Manchester. After cremation, urn burial was in St. Joseph Cemetery, Bedford.
