Mary C. Mattaini

She was born January 26, 1928 in St. Paul, MN the daughter of Francis and Catherine (Cronin) McArthur. She had been a Manchester resident from 1970 until she moved to Bedford four years ago.

She was predeceased by her husband, N. George Mattaini, who died in 2001.

Mary had been a communicant of St. Catherine Church in Manchester for many years.

She was a longtime member of the Manchester Country Club and Sudden Pitch Pool and Tennis Club. She was a member of the Garden Club and had volunteered at the Elliot Hospital Gift Shop.

She leaves her four children, Dr. Mark Mattaini and his wife, Dr. Christine Lowery, of Chicago, ILL, Atty. Steven F. Mattaini and his wife, Atty. Rita McConnell-Mattaini, of St. Paul, MN, Atty. Paul G. Mattaini and his wife, Pamela, of Lancaster, PA and Daniel Mattaini, P.E. of Manchester, NH; six grandchildren; a brother, Francis McArthur of California; nieces and nephews.

Calling hours are Tuesday from 4 to 6 p.m. at Lambert Funeral Home & Crematory, 1799 Elm St., Manchester.

A Mass of Christian Burial was celebrated on Wednesday, October 23, 2013 at St. Catherine Church. Encryptment was in Mount Calvary Mausoleum.
