Mary L. Nelson

Born in Lawrence, KS on November 12, 1928, she was the daughter of Dee and Louise (Cole) Swadley. She lived in Huntsville, AL many years before moving to Manchester several years ago.

While in Huntsville, she was an active member of the Madison Baptist Church and had also enjoyed line dancing.

She was married to Robert Nelson who died in 1994.

The family includes three children, Gene Nelson of Bedford, NH, Connie White of Louisville, KY and Larry Nelson of Port Elizabeth, South Africa; six grandchildren and five great grandchildren; her mother of Drumright, OK; three sisters, Martha Stacy of Wichita, KS, Barbara Wilson of Drumright, OK and Patty Wadsworth of Independence, KS; a brother, Bob Swadley of Texas.

A funeral service was held Monday, August 18, 2008 in the funeral home. Committal prayers and burial followed at Bedford Center Cemetery, Bedford, NH
