Mary Anne Pawlowski

She was born in Manchester on July 7, 1949 to John and Mildred (Kapela) Kazanowski. She attended St. Casimir School through eighth grade and graduated from West High School in 1967.

She married James S. Pawlowski on July 12, 1969. Mary made a loving home for her family wherever the Air Force stationed James in New York, New Hampshire, Virginia, Wyoming and North Dakota.

She worked for America West Insurance in Grand Forks, ND from 1989 to 1993 and for Acadia Insurance Company in Bedford from 1994 to 2010.

Mary loved to read and always read a book cover to cover. She enjoyed crafts, puzzles and games. She also liked playing cards with her grandchildren and watching their involvement in sports. She was a lifelong fan of the Boston Celtics.

She was predeceased by her father; her brother, John; and two sisters, Theresa and Eva.

She is survived by her husband of 43 years, James S. Pawlowski of Manchester; three children, Eric Pawlowski and his wife, Lesli, of Wisconsin, Lori Lopez and her husband, Angel, of Manchester and Jennifer Lord and her husband Christopher, of Weare; four grandchildren, Lindsey, Rebecca, George and Riley; her mother, Mildred Kazanowski of Manchester; a sister, Sr. Jacqueline Kazanowski of Massachusetts; three brothers, William Kazanowski of South Carolina and Timothy Kazanowski and David Kazanowski both of Manchester; and several nieces and nephews.

A Mass of Christian Burial was celebrated on Monday, August 6, 2012 at St. Hedwig Church, corner of Beech and Orange streets, Manchester. Committal prayers followed at Pine Grove Cemetery, Calef Road, Manchester.
