Maureen E. Devine, 56, died March 25, 2005 at the Catholic Medical Center after a lengthy illness.
She was born in Manchester on February 9, 1949, the daughter of John E. and Helena (Murphy) Devine. She was educated in the local school system and graduated from Immaculata High School. She earned her nursing degree from Northeastern University.
She had been employed as a nursing administrator by the State of Massachusetts.
Maureen loved animals, gardening, and music. She also loved to travel, especially to Italy. She was a wonderful aunt to her many nephews and nieces.
Members of her family include two brothers and sister-in-laws, John E. and Janice Devine of Londonderry, Thomas K. and Patricia Devine of Manchester; Three sisters, Kathleen Toomey and late brother-in-law Jack Toomey, Judith Devine, and Eileen Devine, all of Manchester; several nephews and nieces.
A mass of Christian burial was held Tuesday March 29, 2005 in Blessed Sacrament Church. Burial followed in the new St. Joseph Cemetery, Bedford.
