Maurice W. Blanchette

Maurice W. Blanchette, 75, of Manchester died November 19, 2006 at Catholic Medical Center.

Born in Manchester on January 15, 1931, he was the son of Roland and Clara (Lemay) Blanchette. He served in the US Army and was a lifelong resident of Manchester.

Mr. Blanchette worked at J.F. McElwain Shoe Company, Noyes Tires and Wal-Mart all in Manchester for many years.

He was predeceased his wife, Irene (Trembley) Blanchette in 1998 and by a son, David Blanchette in 2003.

The family includes a daughter in law, Denise Blanchette of Manchester; a granddaughter, Melissa Blanchette of Manchester; a great grandson, Tyler Bowers of Manchester and cousins.

A Mass of Christian Burial was celebrated Wednesday November 22, 2006 in Blessed Sacrament Church, 14 Elm St., Manchester. Committal prayers followed at St. Augustin Cemetery, So. Beech St., Manchester.
