He was born in Manchester on June 19, 1925, the son of Herve and Germaine (Courchesne) Boucher and lived most of his life in Manchester. He had been a resident of Hooksett the past several years.
He was a graduate of Central High School and NHVTI. He served in the US Navy from 1943 to 1946 and retired as Signalman's Mate, Second Class. Maurice was employed and retired at GTE Sylvania as a mechanical draftsman.
Family members include his wife of 66 years, Noella (Dulac) Boucher of Hooksett; his children and spouses, Suzanne Boucher of Goffstown, Denise and Phil Roy of Goffstown, Paul and Barbara Boucher of Manchester, Michele Boucher of Hooksett, Robert and Lisl (Sanford) Boucher of Bedford, Donald and Monique Boucher of Manchester, and Mark Boucher of Berwick, ME; seventeen grandchildren, Tim. Tanya, Nathan, Kris, Stephanie, Stacey, Shannon, Justin Paul, Corinne, Brooks, Brittany, Kristiana, Justin Patrick, Ryan, Kyle, Brandon and Meagan; sixteen great grandchildren, Alexander, Magnus, Jessie, Austin, Ariel, Joey, Isabel, Brittany, Tyler, Kaylee, Ellie, Autumn, Aidan, Sage, Sebastian and Cole.
His greatest joy was spending time with "His Family"
Private services took place at the NH State Veterans Cemetery in Boscawen.
