He was born in Manchester on July 12, 1932 to Honore and Angelina (Denoncourt) Denoncourt. He lived in Goffstown for many years.
He served in the U.S. Army from 1950 to 1953.
Mr. Denoncourt owned and operated Maurice Roofing Company for many years. He was a member of the Veterans of Foreign Wars and had volunteered at New Horizons for New Hampshire.
For many years during the Christmas season, he had an elaborate display of lights and self-made ornaments at his home that he called "Christmas World". It had many moving items and was visited by many people each year.
He was predeceased by a grandson, John Denoncourt in 2006.
The family includes his wife of 60 years, Lotte (Lex) Denoncourt of Goffstown; two children, Andre M. Denoncourt of Goffstown and Doris B. Denoncourt of Manchester; one grandchild and two great grandchildren; a sister, Acilda Dachowski of Manchester and nieces and nephews.
A Mass of Christian Burial was celebrated Tuesday, June 29, 2010 at Blessed Sacrament Church, 14 Elm St., Manchester. Committal prayers followed at Pine Grove Cemetery, Calef Rd., Manchester.
