Maurice J. "Murry" Charron, 85, of Manchester, died September 28, 2017 at the Community Hospice House surrounded by his loving family.
Born on Maple St., in Manchester, on May 26, 1932, he was the son of Antonio and Agnes (Godbout) Charron. He attended local schools and joined the Air Force thereafter, having served in the Korean War as an Air Traffic Controller. He later earned his engineering degree from University of Michigan.
Maurice enjoyed skiing, cycling, hiking, dancing, sailing, bowling, and golf. Above all, he will be remembered as a loving husband, father, grandfather, and brother.
Family members include his wife Jane Inman-Charron of Manchester; one son, Michael Charron and wife Jennifer, and their daughter Cora of New Boston; step daughter, Melissa Cruz and husband Steve, and their children Avary and Elliot of Merrimack; sister Jacqueline Belliveau of Manchester; and several nieces, nephews, and cousins.
A Memorial Service was held on Wednesday, October 4, 2017 at Lambert Funeral Home & Crematory, 1799 Elm St., Manchester. Burial took place on Thursday, October 5, 2017 in Mt. Calvary Cemetery, Manchester. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations in Maurice's name may be made to: Community Hospice House, 210 Naticook Rd., Merrimack, NH 03054.
