Maurice J. Poisson, 82, of Manchester, NH died October 28, 2016 at Epsom Manor Rehabilitation Center following a period of declining health.
He was born in Manchester, NH on January 2, 1934, the son of Henri and Irene (Richards) Poisson.
Maurice was a construction worker for Capital Concrete for over 20 years. He later was employed as a security guard, a job which he loved, for Cold Springs Campground for over 30 years.
He enjoyed spending time with his family and friends, and playing with his beloved dog Whitey. Maurice was a true wrestling fan and stayed up late night to watch all of the matches.
Maurice was predeceased by his beloved wife of 44 years, Lucille L. (Boulanger) Poisson, in 2002.
Family includes one daughter, Irene L. Rondeau of Concord, NH; one son Marc A. Poisson; and his grandchildren.
A Mass of Christian Burial was held on Thursday, November 3, 2016 in St. Augustine Church 383 Beech St. Burial followed in Mt. Calvary Cemetery 474 Goffstown Rd. Memorial donations may be made to: NHSPCA, PO Box 196, 104 Portsmouth Ave., Stratham, NH 03885.
