Born in Manchester on July 30, 1926, he was the son of Joseph and Marie-Ange (Landry) Lacerte. He was educated in the local school system and earned his associates degree from New Hampshire College.
Prior to retirement, he had been a self-employed carpenter. He spent nearly 50 years working with Lavallee Construction.
He enjoyed bowling and had been active in the Senior Bowling League at Lakeside Lanes for many years. He also enjoyed watching local sports teams, especially the Boston Red Sox. He was also a member of the Legion of One Thousand Men of the Monastery of the Precious Blood.
Family members include his wife of 42 years, Irene T. (LaBel) Lacerte of Bedford; several nephews, nieces and cousins.
A Mass of Christian burial was celebrated on Saturday, January 16, 2016 in St. Anthony of Padua Church, Belmont St.
