Maurice R. Lanoie

Maurice R. Lanoie, 86, formerly of Manchester, NH, and Stuart FL died September 6, 2003 at Bourne Manor, in Bourne MA.

He was born on October 1, 1919 and was the son of Rosario and Malvina(L'Italien)Lanoie.

During World War II, Mr. Lanoie served with the United States Air Force. He worked for many years as the General Manager at Merrimack St. Garage, and later was a self-employed car salesman.

Mr. Lanoie was a member of the Manchester Lions Club, the Elks Club, the Boys Scouts of America Counsel, and a charter member of the Manchester City Finance Counsel.

He loved boating, especially at Massabesic Lake and Lake Winnisquam.

Family members include his wife of 65 years, Lucie(Lajeunesse) Lanoie, of Bourne, MA; a son, Ronald Lanoie, of Bourne, MA; a daughter, Constance Snair, of Hooksett, NH; 5 grandchildren; 14 great grandchildren.

He was predeceased by his, sister Cecile Lacourse.

A Mass of Christian Burial was celebrated Wednesday September 10, 2003 in St. Anthony of Padua Church, 172 Belmont St, Manchester NH.

Burial was in Mt. Calvary Cemetery, 474 Goffstown Rd. Manchester NH.
