Maurice Ernest LeBel, 84, of Manchester died April 5, 2004 at his residence.
Born in Manchester on December 10,1919, he was the son of Arthur and Amanda (Pepin) LeBel. He was a lifelong resident of Manchester.
He served in the Army during World War II and in the Air National Guard during the Korean War. He retired from A.W. Therrien Roofing Company after 35 years of service. He was a longtime communicant of St. Therese Church.
Family members include his wife of 53 years, Lise (Piquete) LeBel of Manchester; three children, Lilliane LeBel Lauriat of Temple and Susan LeBel and Roger LeBel both of Weare; three grandchildren; two brothers, Philip LeBel and Marcel LeBel both of Manchester; several nieces, nephews and cousins.
A Mass of Christian Burial was celebrated Wednesday April 8, 2004 at St. Theresa Church, corner of Calef Rd. and Mitchell St. Manchester. Burial followed in Mount Calvary Cemetery, 474 Goffstown Rd., Manchester.
