He was born on June 2, 1925, the son of Theophile and Regina (St. Germain) Peloquin and had resided in Manchester all of his life.
He attended St. Anthony High School and later entered the US Army in 1943.
He was in the infantry in the battles of Rome and North Appennines where he received a Purple Heart, Victory Medal and the European African Middle Eastern Theater Campaign Ribbon.
Mr. Peloquin worked as an office manager at Bailey Distributors in Manchester for 46 years.
He enjoyed bowling, tending to his garden and spending time with his family.
He was predeceased by two sons, Raymond Peloquin and Daniel Peloquin.
The family includes his beloved wife of 62 years, Lucille (Beauchemin) Peloquin; two daughters, Diane Bourque of Hooksett and Lisa Harjula and her husband, Brian of Bedford; five grandchildren, Katherine Helm and her husband, Thomas, Stephen Bourque, Stephanie Johnson, Tyler Harjula and Alexander Harjula; three great grandchildren, Thomas Helm, Steven Helm and Lauren Helm.
He was predeceased by eight brothers and four sisters.
A mass of Christian burial was celebrated Saturday, December 13, 2008 at St. Pius X Church, corner of Candia Rd. and Sarto St., Manchester. Committal prayers followed at Mt. Calvary Mausoleum, 474 Goffstown Rd., Manchester.
