Maurice A. Remillard

Maurice A. Remillard, 86, of Manchester died October 6, 2002, at Catholic Medical Center after a brief illness.

Born in Manchester, January 26, 1916, he was the son of Henry and Mary (Jobin) Remillard. He was a Manchester resident most of his life, and also lived many years in Englewood, Fl.

He served in the National Guard.

Mr. Remillard worked for the State of New Hampshire as a real estate tax appraiser retiring in 1965 after 23 years of service.

He was a member of the National Association of Revenue Appraisers and the International Association of Assesing Officers.

He was predeceased by a son Denis Remillard in 1950, and his wife Yvonne (Sevigny) Remillard in 1987.

Family members include six daughters, Claire Bouchard of Manchester, Carol Plante of Nashua, Jane Remillard of Wilder Kentucky, Linda D'Orazio of Manchester, Denise Anderson of Highlands Ranch, CO, Janet Tehan of Rockton, IL; 25 grandchildren, 23 great grandchildren; five sisters Gertrude Croteau of Manchester, Charlotte Brown of Hernando FL, Dorothy LeClerc of Deerfield NH, Madeleine Despins of Manchester, Pauline Doyle of Manchester; three brothers, Paul Remillard of Manchester, Raymond Remillard of Englewood FL, Gerard Remillard of Manchester; several nieces, nephews and cousins.

A Mass of Christian Burial was celebrated Thursday October 10, 2002 in St. Marie Church, 378 Notre Dame Ave., Manchester. Encryptment was in Mt. Calvary Mausoleum 474 Goffstown Rd. Manchester.
