Merle D. Treisman

 Merle D. Treisman, 82, of Boca Raton, FL and Manchester, NH, passed away on October 8, 2024. The daughter of Benjamin Dzick and Minnette Dzick Madway, she was born in Philadelphia, PA on December 6, 1941. 

 Merle attended Moorestown High School in New Jersey and then the University of Pennsylvania where she met and fell in love with her future husband, Jason Treisman. 

 Mrs. Treisman was actively involved in the Manchester Jewish community, having been a member of Temple Adath Yeshurun, the United Jewish Appeal and the Jewish Federation and was a tireless supporter of the arts, music and education in New Hampshire. 

 Merle is survived by her two children, daughter, Blair Rosenfeld and her husband, Lou, and son, Michael Treisman and his wife, Mariya; three grandchildren, Olivia Rosenfeld and Quincy and Harper Treisman. 

SERVICES: The funeral service and burial will be held at 12 p.m. on Sunday, October 13th at the Manchester Hebrew Cemetery, South Beech Street, Manchester. 

 In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Hadassah, a Jewish charity that was very dear to Merle’s heart.
