Michael John Campbell, 91, of Goffstown, NH died peacefully on December 9th, 2017.
Born in Glasgow, Scotland on November 8, 1926, he served in the Scottish Highland Regiment, and was a WWII veteran.
Prior to retirement, he had been employed by St. Johnsbury Trucking. He also worked as a coal miner in Stoke on Trent, England, for many years.
He enjoyed spending time with his grandchildren and great grandchildren, as well as working at Grace Limousine, where he managed the facility 6 days a week right up until his death.
Above all else, "John" will be remembered as a loving father, grandfather and friend to all who knew him.
Family members include sons Ian Campbell & Michael Campbell, both previously deceased; daughters-in-law, Annie Campbell-St. Jean and Holly Barros; grandchildren Andrea Collins, Geoff Campbell, Heather Campbell, Michael Campbell, Shaunna Campbell, Collin Campbell, Isaac Campbell, Joseph Campbell, and Vanessa Barros; he also leaves behind several great-grandchildren.
A service was held on Tuesday, December 19, 2017 at Shiloh Community Church, 55 Edmond St. Urn burial will be in Shirley Hill Cemetery in Goffstown, alongside his deceased wife, Ann, and his sons Ian and Michael, at a later date.
