Michael J. Caulfield, 61, of Manchester, NH passed away unexpectedly at CMC on January 23, 2024.
Born in Fitchburg, MA on September 17, 1962, he was the son of the late James and Annette (Saulnier) Caulfield. Michael was a graduate of Lunenburg High School and earned his bachelor’s degree in business from Saint Joseph College in Standish, ME. Michael served in the US Army as a Specialist for 4 years before being honorably discharged in 1989. He worked in sales with EDF Energy Services for 12 years before retiring in 2018.
Michael was a very loyal, selfless and simplistic man who loved his family deeply. He enjoyed traveling, taking walks, playing golf, relaxing in the sauna, politics, and naps. He was proud to have put his daughters through college, his retirement and his Irish citizenship. Michael was very jovial and witty and was an all around great man! Above all else, he will be remembered as a devoted and loving husband, father, brother, uncle, “Dog Dad” and friend.
Surviving family members include his wife of 30 years, Pamela L. Caulfield (Larsen) of Manchester; two daughters, Bailey A. Caulfield of Manchester and Chelsea L. Caulfield of Chicago; four sisters, Catherine, Donna, Mary and Joan; two brothers, David and Peter; many nieces and nephews; and his dog Bella. He was predeceased by both parents and one brother, James.
SERVICES: Calling hours are from 11am to 2pm on Sunday at Lambert Funeral Home & Crematory, 1799 Elm St., corner of North St., Manchester, NH 03104. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 12pm on Monday at St. Catherine of Siena Church, 225 Hemlock St., corner of Webster St., Manchester, NH 03104. Committal prayers and military honors will follow at 2pm in NH State Veterans Cemetery, 110 Daniel Webster Highway, Boscawen, NH 03303. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to: NH Veterans Home, 139 Winter St., Tilton, NH 03276 or to: Friends of Manchester Animal Shelter, 490 Dunbarton Rd., Manchester, NH 03102.
