Michael C. Christy

Michael Colley Christy, 48, passed away at his home in Manchester, August 4, 2012 of a heart attack. He was the son of Robert Christy of Nottingham and Diana C. Adams of Dover, and stepson of Rae Catherine Christy of Nottingham.

Michael was born in Portsmouth, NH June 17, 1964. He attended the Derryfield School and graduated from Trinity High School and Computer Technology School. He had been employed in the computer field.

Michael was a great fan of NASCAR racing. He also loved fishing the rivers and lakes of New Hampshire with his lifelong friend, Pat Sheridan. He took great pleasure in fishing in Utah and Wyoming with his father, where they crossed the Grand Divide on horseback to fish the backcountry.

In addition to his parents and stepmother, he leaves a brother, Peter Christy, a stepbrother, Kevin Lapato and a stepsister, Kelley Hardy; several aunts, uncles, nieces and nephews.

Services were private.

Lambert Funeral Home, 1799 Elm St., Manchester, assisted with arrangements.
