Michael J. Flanagan

He was born in Bangor, ME on July 16, 1956, the son of John L. and Marilyn Jean (Bryce) Flanagan. He graduated Manchester High School Central, class of 1974 and had attended NHTI prior to earning his bachelor's degree in electrical engineering from the University of Maine at Orono in 1980.

Most recently, he had worked as an electrical engineer with Analogic in Peabody, MA for many years.

Michael loved to fish, hunt, take photos, and spend time with his dogs. He will be remembered as a loving husband, brother and friend to all who knew him.

Family members include his wife of 20 years, Karen (Hanna) Flanagan of Manchester; three children, Bean, Peggy Sue, and Annie Flanagan, all of Manchester; his mother of Concord; father-in-law Charles D. Hanna of Londonderry; one brother, Sean Flanagan and his fiancee Katie Walsh of Greenville, NC; one sister, Elizabeth Nadeau and her husband John of Bradford, VT; a brother-in-law, Sean Hanna and his wife Teresa Pionessa of Long Beach, CA; a sister-in-law, Jonne Blanchette and her husband Guy of Naples, FL; brother-in-law Paul Boutin of Newfane, VT; many nephews, nieces, and cousins.

A memorial Mass of Christian burial was celebrated on Tuesday, August 28, 2012 at St. Peter Church, Auburn. Burial followed in Mt. Calvary Cemetery.
