Michael A. Jodoin, Sr., 70, of Auburn died on October 9, 2024 at Elliot Hospital after a long illness.
He was born in Manchester on September 19, 1954 to Henry and Beatrice (Vallee) Jodoin. He graduated from Central High School in 1973 and lived in Auburn for many years.
Michael was a police officer with the Hooksett Police Department for 25 years and retired as a detective. He enjoyed NASCAR, trips to Disney World, country music and his cats and dogs. He especially enjoyed time spent with his family.
Michael was predeceased by his father. He is survived by his wife of 45 years, Diane (Tremblay) Jodoin of Auburn; three children, Eric Jodoin and his wife Kristin of Manchester, Holly McAllister and her husband Michael of Hooksett, and Michael Jodoin, Jr. and his wife Skyla of Auburn; five grandchildren, Violet, Noah, Logan, Mason and Maverick; his mother; and three siblings, Donald Jodoin and his wife Mary Ellen, Nancy Lascelle, and David Jodoin and his wife Debbie. He is also survived by aunts, cousins, nieces and nephews.
SERVICES: A celebration of life will be held on Wednesday, October 16, 2024 from 4 to 7 p.m. at Lambert Funeral Home & Crematory, 1799 Elm St., Manchester. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Auburn Police Benevolent Association and mailed to P.O. Box 339, Auburn, NH 03032.
